π San Diego AI Studio Sharathon
π San Diego AI Studio Sharathon Saturday, May 16 Β· 10:00 AM β 2:00 PM Β· The Template, San Diego, CA Β· Free Update: The first 50 seats have been claimed. Waitlist is now open. We're releasing additional seats in small waves as we coordinate room flow with the venue. Come hang with like-minded people and see how everyone's building. I put this together so we could spend time playing, building, and sharing how we get our rocks to talk. For: π People building with AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, agents) π¬ Users of ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, want to go deeper π£ Those brand-new to AI, just curious π§ Senior devs exploring or shipping AI π Founders building a product π¨ Designers or creatives working AI into their flow π€ Hardware or robotics folks π€ Peeps looking for collaborators or co-founders π― Folks looking to hire or contract someone πΌ Folks looking for work or employment πΈ Investor, scout, or angel π Nerds just trying to hang and meet people Just got back from the AI Dev SF conference. 3,000+ people, two days of sessions on agents, voice AI, dev tools, and more. I'm stoked to try and funnel some of that here. β The format Casual meetup with laptops, at The Template. A super rad 4.8-star coffee shop in OB, two blocks from the beach. I'll try to greet everyone, but if I miss you, come say hi. Lucas, big friendly dude, dark beard & short curly hair. I'll ask a few Q's so I can categorize your interests and make sure you get what you need. This event is a human-in-the-loop recursive agent. All g If you'd rather be a fly on the wall. Absolutely no presh. 𧱠The flow We open with a casual hangout and chat about what's new, what we're trying, and how we are building. Then we pick something fun to work on or just hang. Example: I went to AI On the Lot, the Gen AI video conference, where we worked on mock previews for pretend movies. We made Zombie Cats. Silly. Also freaking awesome. Come see what else we have lined up, or suggest your own. We'll have Claude Code and Codex learning-oriented projects, and you can pitch ideas too. Then anyone can break into build zones. Pick a zone, solo, pair, or team up, ship something small, or start something big. My friends and I float around helping. Whoever would like, we'll have optional show-and-tells about what we worked on, 3 minutes each, followed by quickfire 15-second rounds for anyone with an intro, ask, or announcement. Then hang, vibe, network till 2. Coffee and pastries are available for purchase at the counter. Please support our epic venue. What we'll help with π Need Claude Code basics, or want to set up OpenClaw? We'll get you started. πΈ Founder looking for funding? We'll point you to who's trying to know you. π€ Hunting partnerships? We'll get you not just in the same space, but collaborating on something fun. πΌ Looking for work or wanting to hire? We'll try to connect you to the right people in the room. π
